SUPPORTING SOCIAL GROWTH: FIRST NAME LISTS FOR CLASSROOMS

We are delighted to inform you that, in the near future, we are intending on sharing a list of first names of the students in your child’s class at the beginning of each term. This resource is designed to support meaningful conversations at home and supporting your child connect with their peers.

Why is this important?

• Foster Connections: Knowing classmates’ names can help your child build stronger relationships and feel more connected to their school community.

• Enhance Conversations: With this list, your child can share specific details about their day, such as who they played with or collaborated with during activities.

• Support Social Development: Discussing friends by name can boost your child’s confidence and social skills.

We encourage you to use this list to engage in conversations with your child about their school experiences. It’s a simple yet effective way to stay connected and support their social growth.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know by contacting the school by Friday, 13 June 2025. Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate your partnership in supporting your child’s communication and social development.
