Continuous Reporting Focus – English (Literature)
This week, students in Room 4 enthusiastically engaged in a range of literacy and Book Week activities. They explored Old MacDonald Heard a Fart, becoming familiar with the characters, sounds and key events through shared reading, discussions, songs and interactive activities.
Students also worked together to create a Book Week poster, participating in colouring, painting, gluing and decorating activities. These experiences supported their communication, fine-motor skills, creativity, social interaction and ability to follow simple instructions.
It was wonderful to see students showing curiosity and enjoyment while engaging with books and participating in the different activities throughout the week.
