Wayi School was full of fantastic costumes and excitement today as we celebrated Halloween Dress Up Day! Students enjoyed visiting the admin space for trick-or-treating, and our parade was a wonderful opportunity to show off their costumes and celebrate together.
From spooky characters to familiar favourites, it was lovely to see the creativity and enthusiasm across our school. Thank you to our students, staff and families for joining in and helping make the day so much fun! 🎃👻

This World Teachers’ Week, we celebrate the incredible teachers at Wayi School and the care, creativity and dedication they bring to their classrooms every day.
Our teachers support students to build confidence, develop new skills and celebrate achievements big and small. Their commitment to understanding each learner and creating welcoming, inclusive classrooms makes a lasting difference to our students and families.
Thank you to our wonderful teaching team for all that you do. We are grateful for your passion, patience and the many ways you help our students learn and thrive! 💙💚

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY WEEK
This week, we celebrate Occupational Therapy (OT) Week and recognise the wonderful contribution our occupational therapists make at Wayi School. This year’s theme, ‘Participation Matters’, highlights how taking part in meaningful everyday activities supports wellbeing and a sense of belonging.
Our OTs work alongside students, classroom teams and families to support participation in learning, play and daily routines. From supporting regulation and fine motor skills to finding practical ways to make activities more accessible, their care and expertise help students build confidence and independence.
Thank you to our wonderful OTs for helping our students participate, connect and thrive!
