HARMONY DAY
On Wednesday 18th March we proudly celebrated Harmony Day at Wayi, a special occasion that highlights the importance of inclusivity, respect, and a strong sense of belonging for everyone in our community 
It was wonderful to see so many staff and students dressed in orange, showing their support for diversity and unity. Thank you to our families for your generous gold coin donations. These will go towards purchasing new diversity and inclusive books for our school library, helping us continue to learn, grow, and celebrate all cultures.

CELEBRATING CULTURAL DIVERSITY WEEK 2026
Wayi School will be celebrating Cultural Diversity Week from 23–29 March 2026. This special week is celebrated across Victoria and recognises the many cultures, languages and traditions that make our communities vibrant and unique.
The 2026 theme, “Culture Connects Us All,” highlights how sharing our stories, traditions and experiences helps build understanding, belonging and connection within our community. During the week, students will participate in a range of activities that explore different cultures and celebrate the diversity within our school.
We look forward to celebrating the cultures that make our community so special!
