To be eligible, nominees must:
Be aged 18 years or over
Not be a parent or guardian of a current Wayi School student
Not be employed by the Department of Education
About the Role:
Meetings are generally held twice a term on Wednesdays in Weeks 3 and 7, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, either at Wayi School or via Webex.
The successful nominee will serve for the remainder of the current term of office, ending March 2028.
We welcome expressions of interest from members of our broader school community, such as grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends, local community members and others who have an interest in supporting Wayi School and its students.
If you know someone who may be interested in this opportunity, please encourage them to submit an Expression of Interest of no more than 50 words outlining why they would like to be part of the Wayi School Council. Expressions of Interest should be emailed to wayi.school@education.vic.gov.au.
