KEY INFORMATION FOR THE WEEK

IMPORTANT: CHANGE IN STUDENT LATE ARRIVAL PROCEDURE

We understand that mornings can be challenging and arriving at school before 9:00am can sometimes be difficult. However, we want to emphasise the importance of arriving on time for the benefit of not only your child’s learning, but the other students within the class also.

When students arrive after 9:00am, staff need to be diverted from their regular program to collect and transition students. This is disruptive and affects the flow of our educational activities and impacts all students.

To minimise disruptions, we kindly request that any parents arriving after 9:00am, walk their child to the Admin building, where alternate staff will transition the student. This will ensure the classroom program is not disrupted, and all students can join their class without significant interruptions.

If you believe that this arrangement is not possible for you, please contact our admin team. We will connect you with a leadership member to discuss your situation and find a suitable solution.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a productive and supportive learning environment for all students.

SWPBS CELEBRATION DAY – WEDNESDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER

On Wednesday the 18th of September we are having our Sports Carnival & Footy Colours Day for our School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) Celebration. Students are encouraged to dress up in their footy team’s colours and wear them proudly.
‎‎
Please note, the wearing of sports themed clothing is optional, so families are asked to provide alternate clothing for your child in case they do not wish to remain in this clothing all day or want to change into their sportswear later in the day.
‎‎
Throughout the day students will have the opportunity to engage in various fun sporting activities run by an external provider.
‎‎
Our SWPBS Celebration will conclude with a teachers vs students Pizza Box Relay Race.

LAST DAY OF TERM 3 – FRIDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER

The last day of Term 3 is on Friday the 20th of September.

Students will finish at the usual time of 3:00pm. If you wish to collect your child before then, please notify their classroom teacher via SeeSaw Messages.
