Our students and staff enjoyed taking the opportunity to say thank you for everything they do to support our school community. From thoughtful messages and flowers to shared morning tea and lunch, it was a wonderful way to show our appreciation.

Thank you for your unwavering commitment to creating a school where every student is supported to learn, grow and thrive. Your leadership helps make Wayi School a welcoming, inclusive and inspiring place for all.

Happy Principal’s Day! 💚

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS: ‘LATTE WITH LEANNE’ AND ASSEMBLY – THURSDAY 20 AUGUST

You are invited to join us for our upcoming Community Connections Afternoon on Thursday, 20th August (Week 6), commencing at 1:00pm at Wayi School.

The afternoon will begin with our “Latte with Leanne” community connection session, followed by our whole-school assembly, providing families with the opportunity to connect, learn and celebrate together.

“Latte with Leanne” is a relaxed afternoon tea designed to bring our community together. It is a wonderful opportunity for parents, carers and guardians to connect with one another, meet members of our school community, and share conversations about supporting our students.

Our special guest attendees will include Robyn O’Neill, Wayi School’s Assistant Principal, and Charisse Garcia, Wayi School’s Learning Specialist.

During this session, we will explore ways to support your child’s learning, with a focus on:

– Guiding your child’s learning journey

– Helping your child develop their reading skills

Following our discussion, families will join students and staff for our whole-school assembly, where we will celebrate the achievements and successes of our students. The assembly will include:

– School Values Awards

– School-Wide Positive Behaviour Awards

– School Camp Acknowledgements and Scholarship Award Presentations
