SPORTS CARNIVAL AND FOOTY COLOURS DAY – WEDNESDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER

This Wednesday, 18th of September, we are having our Sports Carnival & Footy Colours Day for our School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) Celebration.

Students are encouraged to dress up in their footy team’s colours and wear them proudly. ‎

Throughout the day students will have the opportunity to engage in various fun sporting activities run by an external provider. ‎‎ Our SWPBS Celebration will conclude with a teachers vs students Pizza Box Relay Race.

*Please note, the wearing of sports themed clothing is optional, so families are asked to provide alternate clothing for your child in case they do not wish to remain in this clothing all day or want to change into their sportswear later in the day.*

SCHOOL SAVING BONUS

These forms were sent home last week with another form containing personal details that may need to be updated. Please ensure this form is returned. If no changes are necessary, simply write ‘no changes necessary’ and pass it on your child’s classroom teacher.

LAST DAY OF TERM 3 – FRIDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER

The last day of Term 3 is on Friday the 20th of September.
‎
Students will finish at the usual time of 3:00pm. If you wish to collect your child before then, please notify their classroom teacher via SeeSaw Messages.

Term 4 will commence on Monday 7th October‎

REMINDER: BASKETBALL PROGRAM RUNNING TOMORROW – ROOMS 1-10‎

A friendly reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday 17th September, students will participate in a 30-minute session with coaches from the Craigieburn Basketball Association.
Parents will be informed of their child’s scheduled time by their classroom teachers via SeeSaw Messages. Please ensure students come to school with their water bottle and wearing their runners.

For Term 3 2024, we are learning the signs of all the different colours!

Performance: Hold hand with fingers and thumb spread palm toward chin. In front of mouth, move the fingers together as the hand moves out and down from face.

RDA OAKLANDS MELBOURNE CUP EVENT

Riding for the Disabled Association Oaklands invites you to attend a Melbourne Cup Event on October 6th.

This year, three Wayi students began attending RDA weekly and are thoroughly enjoying their sessions.

If the RDA program is of interest to you and your child, this is a great opportunity to attend and learn more about the program.
