WAYI SCHOOL WELCOME CELEBRATION – FRIDAY 3RD OF MAY

Wayi School is committed to providing a culturally safe environment for our entire school community and value the opportunities to build and maintain strong partnerships to continually build our school connections. Our school opened in January 2023 and since then our community has steadily grown, drawing students, families and carers from Craigieburn and the surrounding areas.

To formally acknowledge and celebrate our connections with our wonderful school community, we are hosting a Wayi Welcome Celebration on Friday 3rd May 2024 from 4.30pm – 6pm.

The celebration will commence with an Indigenous Welcome to Country smoking ceremony, followed by various other celebratory activities. More details will be provided in the coming weeks.

To assist with catering and other preparations, we request families RSVP using the attached form by Friday 26th April.

We look forward to sharing this special celebration with as many of you as possible.
